Megan E. King is a fat/queer/butchy-femme/feminist-identified writer/editor/nonprofit administrator living in Chicago.  She has been described as a fairly prolific blogger who focuses mostly on social justice and activism, though she’s also been known to write about books, television, video games, politics, psychology, and kitties.

Intrigued?  I wrote a Getting to Know You post waaaaay back when this blog started.

Like what you see?  Awesome, because I’m available for guest posts, freelance writing or editing, panel discussions, and rainbows.  Please contact me via email to to work out the details.

I can also be found on Twitter, TumblrFacebookDelicious, and Orange the Brave.

Brass Tacks has no comments policy for users at this time, except your standard “no hate speech” and “no abuse” rules.

However, I do have a policy for myself, and that is that I will do my best to engage with every commenter.  I believe in conversations, so rest assured that I will not ignore what you’ve said.
